Description

The Super Naturals Amazon Gravel is an inert product that will not affect pH or alkalinity in the aquarium. It consist of unusual coarse sand size with rounded grains. Excellent for tanks with freshwater stingrays or catfish.
Grain size: 1.0 - 2.0 mm.

Beautiful small grained substrate

I was surprised at how thick a layer of gravel this put at the bottom of my 20gal tank; I ended up not using the full 20 lb bag. That turned out to be fortuitous because this stuff is excellent for mixing with epoxy resin to create new weighted bases for artificial aquarium plants.

Very Nice Substrate

It's a much finer gravel than I had expected but looks beautiful in my planted tank.

Natural look

Great substrate, I use it for my planted tanks it gives nice natural look to the aquarium and it didn't need much rinsing.
