Description
API aquarium salt provides essential electrolytes freshwater fish need to reach peak coloration and vitality. It improves gill function, reduces stress, facilitates regulations and promotes disease recovery.
When to use: Use when setting up a freshwater aqauarium or fish bowl, changing water and treating fish disease.
Directions: Add 1 rounded tablespoon for every 5 gallons, or 1/2 rounded teaspooon for every gallon of water.
Notes: Aquarium salt does not evaporate, and is not filterd out, so it should only be added with each water change. Care should be taken when using salt with live plants, as some plants my be sensitive.
Add 1 table spoon of salt per gallon of water for hatching baby brine shrimp.

where i live, our local petsmart doesn't carry the larger sizes anymore, and has upped the price of the smaller ones to equal these, definitely recommend getting it from here instead of a chain store.
