TDS readings measure Total Dissolved Solids in a given volume of water. It measures all mobile charged ions including minerals, salts and metals.The unit requires 2x 1.5V Button Cell batteries (Batteries are not included).

Instructions:

Remove the protective cap
Press the ON/OFF button
Immerse the reader into the water
Wait until the reading stabilizes
If the display has a x10 symbol, multiply the results by 10

Cheap price and it works.

What do you get now days for 16 dollars. Not much. This unit does measure the tds. Total dissolved solids. It will tell you what your total is but not what contributes to the many factors and that’s all I expected. It does have a temperature feature and a memory function for tds. It takes 2 batteries not included.
