Description

Zebra nerite snails (Neritina natalensis sp. "Zebra") are algae eating snails with a beautiful golden shell accented by black stripes. These snails require brackish water in order to breed successfully and therefore there is no danger that they will overrun your tank like pest snails.

The snails are sensitive to ammonia and should not be kept in tanks with a high bioload.

Broken Shell

I ordered two of them and one came with cracks on the shell. I could see the green part (intestine perhaps?) through one crack.. I am worried if it can survive.

Otocinclus picked up from the drop box. Fast and easy to use. Pleased to have them, as I've had some algae issues, and they have acclimated well and are a good addition to my tank

Great snails

The snails were very large and healthy. A few chips on their shells, but they've been working non-stop to clean the algae in my tank. Pickup was fast and easy.
