It supports fertility and egg formation, e.g. in female shrimp, as well as healthy growth of the young. If there is a lack of protein, female shrimp cannot form well-developed egg packets, which can be seen, for example, when the egg spot in the neck area does not grow sufficiently or even stagnates in growth. The young shrimp also have an increased protein requirement during the rapid growth phases, as the small shrimp have to shed their skin much more often in the first few weeks of their lives and grow more quickly than adult shrimp. They use up a lot of energy and need proteins to grow. If these are not available in sufficient quantities, only a few of the young animals usually reach adulthood. Proteins are essential for life and if breeders in particular like to feed them high-protein feeds so that the animals are always optimally supplied and breeding is successful.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:
