Glossostigma elatinoides - tissue culture

Glossostigma elatinoides is a very popular foreground plant as it creates a very dense carpet. It requires a lot of CO2 and light but it is not as demanding as Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba'. It has larger leaves than HC 'Cuba'.

Tissue cultured plants are guaranteed FREE of algae, snails, duckweed, insects and pests. The plans were grown using micropropagation. Tiny plant cuttings of healthy parent plants were treated to remove all harmful organisms, and then grown inside a plastic container.
 

Directions:

• Remove plants from the cup
• Rinse all the gel from the roots
• Divide plants into smaller portions
• Plant directly into the substrate
