Description

CaribSea Super Naturals Sunset Gold is a natural fine and smooth sand suitable for bottom dwelling and sand sifting fish or invertebrates. It is also ideal for most freshwater fish, including discus, tetras, angelfish. It may also be used in marine or african cichlid aquariums. Unique sand sized grains resist collection of detritus, fish waste and food. It doesn't contain any artificial dyes or paints and it will not alter pH of water in the aquarium.

Size of granules: 0.25 - 1mm
1 bag is sufficient for a 5-10 gallon tank.
The bag contains a free bio-magnet clarifier.
Perfect for Nature Aquariums.

First time using sand

I used this in the very front of my 29g to make a play area for kuhli poached, hopefully they'll like it! Rinsed it a few times, then the bio-magnet clarifier that came with it took care of the rest.

Great sand

Really nice sand. Smooth grains, looks great, and hardly required any rinsing before use.

Looks Great In My Tank

The sand is quite nice looking. Only had to rinse it about two times before putting it in my aquarium. Very minimal cloudiness once filled. I would highly recommend it as a good Substrate
