Description

Pygmy cories are very cute dwarf corydoras. They are very peaceful fish, however, they are not suitable for community tanks due to their small size. Also they get quite easily intimidated and do not compete well for food with larger fish. They are suitable for aquariums with similarly sized fish (tetras, rams, apistogrammas, shrimps), perfect fish for nano tanks. Unlike majority of cories, pygmy cories likes to swim in midwater. Pygmy cories can be identified by a black stripe running from the tip of the snout to the caudal fin. We recommend to keep them in a group of at least 10 fish. These corydoras are wild caught and were de-wormed.
Adult Size: 2-3 cm (females are larger than males)

Cute little fish

Ordered a few of these little guys, one sadly did not make it but the others are all healthy. As a new owner of these type of cory, I didn't know what to expect. They are not really active, and are not schooling, they prefer to hang out alone on leaves and such, but hey, it must mean they feel safe lol.

Cutest fishes in my tank

I got 3 of these cute little ones (along with lambchops and neon tetras); they inspect every inch of the aquarium, curious creatures and very active. Great choice for a healthy little corry. I have Seachem gravel, no issues for their barbels, at least for now.
