Description

Pygmy cories are very cute dwarf corydoras. They are very peaceful fish, however, they are not suitable for community tanks due to their small size. Also they get quite easily intimidated and do not compete well for food with larger fish. They are suitable for aquariums with similarly sized fish (tetras, rams, apistogrammas, shrimps), perfect fish for nano tanks. Unlike majority of cories, pygmy cories likes to swim in midwater. Pygmy cories can be identified by a black stripe running from the tip of the snout to the caudal fin. We recommend to keep them in a group of at least 10 fish. These corydoras are wild caught and were de-wormed.

Amazing Fish

Lovely fish!

The corydoras arrived healthy and quickly adjusted to my tank (don't be worried if they don't move around much in the shipping bag). They're difficult to count due to their energy and agility, but I received a fairly even number of males and females.

Pygmy corys are a small (only about 1 inch or 2.5 cm max) and peaceful fish, and I highly recommend them if you're looking for interesting corydoras because of their social behaviour, use of the majority of the tank (while they forage the substrate they also like to swim about everywhere and will rest on plants and hardscape), and overall cuteness. I don't tend to think of fish as cute, but with their big eyes and little whiskers pygmy corys are adorable.

Adorable tiny Cory's

These tiny corydoras are perfect for both small & large community tanks. They have so much personality & like to travel around in packs of 2-9. They're extremely peaceful & will do well with tank mates that aren't aggressive.
They arrived alive & super healthy!! even with Canada Post losing the package & not delivering a day late.
I highly recommend these little cuties for a planted community tank with tetras & German Blue Rams.
