Description

A beautiful and very varied species from West Africa with leaves of green to red-brown and varying numbers of purple spots. Can grow from 20-80 cm tall. Before forming floating leaves Nymphaea lotus (zenkeri) forms many underwater leaves. If you don't want floating leaves, prune the roots and leaves. The beautiful, aromatic flowers can be fully appreciated in open aquariums. A nutritious bottom encourages growth. Often available in a red and a green variety. Recommended as a solitary plant for large aquariums.

These plants are so beautiful and gave me a surprise. They arrive with large bulbs and baby leaves, once placed in the aquarium, the bloom was beautiful and quick! My new favorite plant and I recommend.

Showstopper

I put one very healthy bulb partially buried in sand mid ground in my 75 gallon. I kid you not in 10 days I have 5 lily pads floating at the surface and a very bushy base. I will trim the pads so to increase the fullness of the bottom part of plant. The coLours are spellbinding.

Amazing Growth

This very unassuming little bulb is now the star of my tank. You can almost watch this thing grow! I just dropped it in the corner and it took off sending broad leaves to the surface and roots deep into the aqua soil substrate.

Can't wait for it to fully grow. Been looking for this for awhile, luckily it was in stock. Leaves are growing a nice reddish hue. Like always angel fins delivers another excellent products and customer service is top notch.
