The Apistogramma agassizii 'Blue Flame' is a striking, selectively bred variant of Agassiz's Dwarf Cichlid. Known for its intense electric blue coloration in mature males and engaging social behavior, this variant serves as an eye-catching centerpiece for planted freshwater aquariums.

Like the wild-type species, this strain features a distinctive lanceolated (spear-shaped) caudal fin and complex behavioral dynamics. Males display prominent blue patterning, while females typically develop a bright yellow coloration when in breeding condition. They thrive in soft, acidic water setups that incorporate plenty of visual barriers, such as driftwood, rocks, and dense live planting.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.
