We pride ourselves on safe, reliable packaging—especially for fragile glass aquariums. Our goal is to get your order to you quickly and intact.
Dry Goods Shipping
During checkout, you’ll see real‑time shipping options based on your location and order size.
- Carriers: Canada Post, Purolator, Canpar, GLS, FedEx.
- Select carrier and speed at checkout.
- Orders ship Monday‑Friday.
- Orders placed before 2 p.m. ship the same day (except for weekends).
Livestock Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee
All fish, shrimp, and snails are double‑bagged and placed in a styrofoam box with a heat pack. They are shipped overnight with either Canada Post or FedEx. The cost of the styrefoam box and heat pack is included in the shipping quote. To secure live arrivals, we do not ship livestock on Thursdays or Fridays to avoid weekend delays. We guarantee live arrival if the order is delivered on time. See our DOA Policy page for more details.
Large Items
Stands wider than 24" and aquariums larger than 20 gallons are not shipped. They can be picked up at our Guelph warehouse.
Free Shipping
Orders over $195 qualify for free shipping (excludes heavy, livestock, plants, tanks, glass tops, stands, and international orders). Free‑shipping orders use Canada Post’s Expedited Parcel.
How to Estimate Shipping Costs?
- Add items to the Shopping Cart and click on the Cart.
- Click “Edit Cart” and scroll down to "Estimate Shipping Cost".
- Select your province and enter your postal code.
- Press “Get Quotes” to view quotes.

Livestock Shipping Summary
Orders with livestock are shipped with an overnight service (Mon‑Wed). DOA claims need to be submitted within an hour from delivery. No shipping on Thursdays or Fridays.
