Poco Theme

A brilliantly colored nano fish with an intense red body and dark lateral stripe. Reaching just 2 cm (0.8 inches), it is a favorite for heavily planted aquariums.
It can be distinguished from Boraras maculatus and Boraras naevus by its continuous dark lateral stripe running along the body. B. maculatus typically displays several separate dark spots rather than a solid stripe, while B. naevus has a more compact body with a large rounded dark blotch on the flank. Mature Chili Rasboras also tend to develop the most intense red coloration of the three species, especially in well-planted aquariums.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
