Pygmy cories are adorable dwarf corydoras that are known for their peaceful nature. However, they are not suitable for community tanks due to their small size. They can easily be intimidated and often struggle to compete for food with larger fish. Pygmy cories thrive in aquariums with similarly sized fish, such as tetras, rams, apistogrammas, and shrimps, making them perfect for nano tanks. Unlike most other corydoras, pygmy cories prefer to swim in the midwater region of the tank. These fish can be identified by a distinctive black stripe that runs from the tip of their snout to their caudal fin. It is recommended to keep them in groups of at least 10 to ensure their well-being.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
