Eheim Filter Pad Blue Coarse is used as a parting layer between the mechanical (Ehfimech) and biological filter medium (Ehfisubstrat/Ehfisubstrat Pro). Coarser particles are restrained and are thus removed from the water prior to entry into the biologically acting filter layers. This filter material may be rinsed and re-used; rinse in tank water or dechlorinated tap water to keep its biological filtering capabilities.

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.
