Brine shrimp is an optimal feed for nearly all inhabitants of freshwater and saltwater aquariums, due to their content of fat, carbohydrates and proteins. This unique, fully extruded granulate in the form of a flake consists of an uncompromisingly high portion of this high-quality ingredient.

"But don’t call it a flake!”…

…, because this is a granulate in the form of a flake. Extrusion makes it possible to produce a product that is as germ-free as possible. All pressure- and heat-sensitive components are only added after this manufacturing step, so that they retain their structure and thus remain completely effective. The stable and relatively large shape of the individual, flake-like granulates and the special sinking behaviour promote rapid acceptance. Even delicate wild-caught discus begin to eat greedily of the flat granulate after a short period of acclimatization, thanks to the high feed quality and the special sinking and swimming behaviour.

Of course, there is nothing to prevent the granulate from being crushed and offered to all other types of aquarium fish, regardless of size. Another advantage of the relatively long surface dwell time is that even very timid and shy surface eaters can be supplied. This makes it easier, for example, to feed new stock.

Ingredients: brine shrimps 49.3%, vegetable proteins, rice flour, salmon oil, garlic 4%, brewer’s yeast, kelp, amino acids, minerals, prebiotics and probiotics.

Guaranteed Analysis: Crude protein 54%, crude fat 7%, crude fibre 0.7%, crude ash 2.4%

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
