The German Breeding Ring is an innovative device designed for hatching fish eggs and raising fry in the same tank as their parents. It features a floating ring equipped with an airstone, a fine mesh bottom, and a sponge filter that circulates water from the main tank into the ring. The mesh at the bottom is fine enough that it allows feeding of powdered food or live foods, such as daphnia or baby brine shrimp, without the risk of them escaping into the main tank.
Two airline outlets are required to operate both the sponge filter and the airstone.
