The Green Rili Shrimp is a selectively bred Neocaridina davidi variety known for its distinctive pattern of solid green head and tail sections with a clear or translucent midsection. This “Rili” pattern gives it a light, floating appearance that stands out beautifully in planted aquariums. Active and peaceful, it constantly grazes on biofilm, algae, and leftover food while helping maintain a clean aquarium environment. Like other Neocaridina shrimp, it is hardy, adaptable, and beginner-friendly, and it breeds readily in stable freshwater conditions. Adults typically grow to about 1–1.25 inches (2.5–3 cm).
