Hikari Micro Pellets is a uniquely balanced diet for most smaller tropical fish. The micro-coating maintains nutrient integrity, and the nutrition packed slow sinking pellets offer outstanding value compared to flakes.

Features:

  • The rapidly softening pellet provides a softer texture that's ideally suited for most smaller community tank fishes
  • This smaller granule allows even the smallest of fish ready access to the nutrient package

Feeding:

Feed two to three times daily the amount your fish will completely consume in about a minute. Care should be taken to avoid overfeeding as water quality issues can result.

Note: Hikari® Tropical Micro Pellets® contains higher levels of natural ingredients which may cause a slight change in colour from one production lot to another. Rest assured because of Hikari's rigid quality standards each package meets their superior nutritional specifications.

Feeding Betta Fish: For a 1.5 inch betta (from tip of nose to base of tail, before fin), feed six pellets of Betta Micro Pellets in the morning and six at night. Add two pellets per 1/4 inch of growth, never feed more than six pellets at one feeding. Additional feedings can be made if they are at least two hours apart and at least that amount of time before all lights are out in the room. More feedings will improve growth for your betta. During feedings, feed one pellet at a time and make sure the betta completely consumes each pellet. Do not overfeed. Overfeeding can be detrimental to the betta and the water quality. Remove any uneaten food after the feeding period.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
