Bloody Mary Shrimps are beautiful deep wine-red coloured shrimps as they are Neocaridina heteropoda, they will interbreed with cherry, fire red and snowball, yellow shrimp. Unlike other red shrimp that may show darker shell pigment, Bloody Marys often have a more uniform internal red colouration, giving them a glassy, jewel-like appearance under aquarium lighting. They are active grazers, constantly feeding on biofilm, algae, and leftover food, and they help keep planted aquariums clean and balanced. Like all Neocaridina, they are hardy, adaptable, and beginner-friendly, breeding readily in stable freshwater conditions. Adults typically grow to about 1–1.25 inches (2.5–3 cm).

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
