Poco Theme

This beautiful ricefish is known for its brilliant blue eyes and orange-red fins. Despite its small size, it is highly active and constantly visible in the aquarium.

Males are typically more colourful, with brighter red finnage, blue body coloration, and slightly longer fins, while females tend to be plumper and more subdued in color.

One of the most fascinating features of this species is its breeding behavior. After spawning, females carry a cluster of fertilized eggs attached beneath their abdomen near the vent, often for several hours to a few days. The egg mass is clearly visible and resembles a small bunch of translucent pearls. Eventually, the female deposits the eggs among fine-leaved plants, mosses, or spawning mops, where they remain until hatching. Active, peaceful, and constantly visible, Daisy's Blue Ricefish are excellent fish for planted aquariums and species-focused breeding projects.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.
