Poco Theme

One of the most popular community fish, known for its copper-orange body and bold black triangular patch that extends across much of the rear half of the body. Growing to about 4–5 cm (1.5–2 inches), it is hardy, peaceful, and best kept in schools where its natural shoaling behavior can be appreciated.

It can be distinguished from the Glowlight Rasbora (Trigonostigma hengeli) and Lambchop Rasbora (Trigonostigma espei) by its larger size, deeper body shape, and much larger black wedge marking. Glowlight Rasboras have a much smaller wedge outlined by a brilliant orange stripe, while Lambchop Rasboras display a narrower, more sharply angled wedge that resembles the shape of a lamb chop. The Harlequin's bold, solid triangular patch is the largest and most prominent of the three species.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
