Poco Theme

A colourful rasbora with a vibrant orange to copper body and a distinctive black marking shaped like a lamb chop along its rear flank. Growing to about 3–4 cm (1.2–1.5 inches), it is a peaceful schooling fish that thrives in planted community aquariums.

It can be distinguished from the Harlequin Rasbora (Trigonostigma heteromorpha) and Glowlight Rasbora (Trigonostigma hengeli) by the shape and size of its black wedge. The Lambchop Rasbora's wedge is narrower and more sharply angled than the large triangular patch of the Harlequin Rasbora, but noticeably larger and bolder than the small, delicate wedge seen on the Glowlight Rasbora. It also tends to display more intense orange colouration than either species, especially in well-planted aquariums with subdued lighting.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
