Shadow Catfish (Hyalobagrus flavus) is a small, translucent-bodied schooling catfish known for its delicate golden-yellow sheen and faint internal markings. Reaching only about 3–4 cm (1–1.5 inches), it is a peaceful and highly social species that should be kept in groups to thrive and display natural behavior.

It prefers soft, slightly acidic water and calm environments with fine substrate and gentle filtration. Active mainly during low light, it spends much of its time midwater to lower levels, foraging for tiny foods, making it a subtle but fascinating addition to nano and community aquariums.

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.
