The Blue Panda Shrimp is a selectively bred Caridina shrimp from the Taiwan Bee lineage, known for its striking blue and white patterning that often forms bold “panda-like” contrasts on the body. Each individual can show slightly different distribution of blue patches, making them highly sought after by breeders and collectors. Active but more delicate than Neocaridina shrimp, it spends much of its time grazing on biofilm and exploring mosses and hardscape in mature aquariums. Like other advanced Caridina shrimp, it requires very stable, soft, slightly acidic water conditions to thrive and maintain strong colouration. Adults typically grow to about 1–1.25 inches (2.5–3 cm).

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
