Our 3D Printed Aquarium Plant Anchors are specifically engineered to keep your aquatic plants securely rooted in the substrate while they establish their root systems.
Key Features:
- Flexible Gripper Prongs: Inside the anchor are three flexible, anti-reverse cantilever springs. They gently flex to allow you to easily insert delicate plant stems, but lock into place to prevent the plant from pulling back out—without crushing the stem!
- Smooth Substrate Barbs: The outside of the anchor features sleek, rounded locking rings. They slide effortlessly down into gravel, sand, or aquasoil, while providing massive resistance against upward pulling forces.
- Depth-Stop Top Rim: The clean, flat collar at the top gives your thumb a comfortable place to push and acts as a stopper so you don't bury the anchor too deep.
- Aquarium Safe: 3D printed from high-quality, shrimp-safe PETG plastic that will never degrade or leach chemicals into your water.
How to use: Simply push the bottom of your plant stem into the top of the anchor (the side with the flat rim), then push the anchor directly into your substrate until the top rim sits flush with the soil.
Note: The internal gripper prongs are designed to be snug so they can hold even the most delicate, hair-thin plants. When inserting thicker stems, be gentle! Slowly twist or wiggle the stem through the center of the anchor rather than forcing it straight down. Forcing a thick stem too hard can snap the internal flexible prongs.
