Bondâ„¢ is a unique, low-melting-temperature adhesive plastic. Bondâ„¢ can be used to secure coral to rockwork or to fuse rockwork together for more stable foundations in reef aquaria. Bondâ„¢ is completely non-toxic and inert, with no impact on aquarium chemistry. Bondâ„¢ has a much lower melting temperature than similar products, making it safer and easier to work with. If necessary, Bondâ„¢ can be reheated and reworked multiple times until desired results are achieved.

Directions

  1. Add the desired amount of Bond™ to work with to hot water (113 °F/45 °C). Take care not to overheat Bond™ as it will be difficult to safely handle. (Do not boil water).
  2. Bondâ„¢ will slowly change from white to clear in hot water as it melts and clumps together. Once Bondâ„¢ is clear, it is ready to work with.
  3. Remove it from the water and begin to knead it to work out any trapped air or water. Bondâ„¢ can now be worked into any shape or form required to secure coral to rockwork or to bond rockwork together.

As Bond™ cools, it hardens and returns to its original white colour. This takes approximately 10–15 minutes but will vary depending on the temperature Bond™ is heated to, as well as room temperature. If necessary, Bond™ can be reheated and reworked multiple times until desired results are achieved.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
