ShrimpGH+ by NilocG Aquatics is a specially formulated remineralizer for softwater shrimp. ShrimpGH+ increases the general hardness of RO water without having an effect on the pH or KH. It contains magnesium and calcium as well as other vitamins and trace elements which promote a stable environment beneficial for your beloved shrimp.

Dosing Instructions

  • 1 scoop (~4 grams) per 5 gallons (~20 litres) increases GH by 7 dGH
  • Optimal GH for most softwater shrimp is between 4 and 7 dGH
  • Number of grams needed per gallon = (number of gallons x desired increase in dGH) / 8.7

Example: If you need to increase dGH of a 20-gallon tank by 1 dGH, you would need (20 x 1) / 8.7 = 2.3 grams, which is approximately 1/2 scoop.

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
