The Snowball Shrimp is an attractive white Neocaridina variety known for its pearly white to translucent body and the distinctive white eggs carried by females, which resemble tiny snowballs. Its subtle colouration provides a beautiful contrast against dark substrates and lush green plants. Peaceful and active, it spends its time grazing on algae, biofilm, and detritus throughout the aquarium. Hardy and easy to care for, it is an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced shrimp keepers, and it breeds readily in stable freshwater aquariums. Adults typically grow to about 1–1.25 inches (2.5–3 cm).

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes, you can order fish along with dry goods. However, if the dry goods are heavy or bulky, it may be more cost-effective to place two separate orders. In that case, you could ship the dry goods using a slower, more affordable shipping option.

If your order has not shipped yet, you can email us your correct shipping address, and we will update it for you.

On weekdays, if we receive your order before 2 p.m., it will be shipped out the same day. Dry goods are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders that include livestock are only shipped from Monday to Thursday to avoid transit over the weekend.

At checkout, you can leave your request in the comments box.

Our locker boxes are located in the foyer of our store at 230 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 107, Guelph. The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
