Cute little torpedoes!

Added 21 Rummy Nose Tetra to a heavily planted 75G tank housing a few Dwarf Rainbows and they quickly became a happy community. I knew from experience how active Rummys are but wasn't expecting the Rainbows to school with them as much as they do. The tank is peaceful but alive and busy.

1 was badly nipped at the tail in transit but the plants provided the refuge needed to hide and heal. "Stumpy" doesn't have the full tail back yet but is schooling with the others and fending for itself at feeding time.

All are very healthy today (2 weeks on). It would have been 22 new fish but sadly 1 was DOA. Resolved with typical, quick Angelfins customer service.

Pick up a half dozen of these. They are very healthy and a very active addition to my aquarium! I love watching how they school together.

I ordered 10 of these and all were received in lively & healthy condition. They are a great addition to the tank and provide lovely colour and activity. I admit they are one of my favorites.

Sensitive little guys

I have been wanting to get a school of the guys in my big tank for a while. I did have a few losses after 72 hours. It was a big order though, and I only saw one fish who unfortunately had a gill plate that was ripped off. That was noticed on day 2 though, so that fish could have injured himself in my tank.

This is not a knock against Angelfins for this species, as I’ve actually had the highest survival rate buying from this store, as the two other stores I was only able to keep 2 alive from 4 purchases.

If I end up buying this fish again, I’ll buy it here, but they are sensitive to changes and stress.

Great store but unfortunate batch

Ordered 7 RM tetras along with some Corys and Angels. All were healthy/ eating well. After about 4 days of being introduced all of the tetras developed ich overnight and all 7 died within 2 days. Tank was cycled and water parameters were fine. temp was around 24 C so not sure how they got it/ died so quickly. They might have just had a rough transportation as they can be a sensitive fish. Angels and Corys were very healthy and not affected by ich outbreak. Other than that, the fish were good size and judging by the quality of the other fish I got, i'd still buy livestock from Angelfins again.
