Not only did my order arrive quickly especially being shipped across the country the weight was correct in fact it was slightly over. Included was a small bag bacteria starter balls each one is good for 10 gallons.
You will need to pre wash the biohome ultimate. Its gritty like sand and gets into everything until you rinse it. It will NOT break down over time, I base this on reports of people who have used it over 2-3 years saying it doesn't brake down. Its highly porous, thats a good thing though. This media allows healthy bacteria to grow inside and out using all the surface area inside and out. It may be 5-7$ more than the average media kilo for kilo but keep in mind you dont change out bio media, well I dont. May as well get the best.
