Great media, extremely porous, perfect size for medium sized filters. Says it comes with starter gel balls, there is only 2 shipped with 1kg of the media. So not enough to do anything probably.

Response from Angelfins: Thank you very much for your feedback. The media comes with 2 large Filter Starter Balls, it might seem insufficient but each of the gel ball contains millions of beneficial bacteria. The manufacturer recommends to use 1 ball per 1kg of media. The amount you received with the media should be more than sufficient to successfully colonize the media.
