Beautiful, shy fish

My fish arrived on time and was healthy and very active, ready to go!
This is my first time having a ram and it won't be my last. This one stays near the bottom, hiding among the plants and keeps to himself during the day but at night time he/she likes to roam around his tank and comes out in the open more. He is really cool to watch, a very interesting fish. He doesn't have much colour at this time but hopefully as he matures and gets more comfortable with his environment those stunning colours will come out.
I am so happy with him and I'm glad I went with Angelfins once again!

I purchased three pandas to join three others in our 37 gallon community tank. Two of three were active and ready to explore as I netted them into the tank a week ago. The third was lethargic and did not react to the net. One week later, the first two pandas look great! The third has had a few good days but now clearly has a swim bladder problem. I found it floating on its side at the surface this morning. I tested for ammonia, nitrite and phosphate and all three tests were zero. Angelfins packaged the fish really well and the transit was as quick as you could hope for (about 15 hours door-to-door I estimate), but I guess you have to expect the stress will be too much for some fish. That said, the third panda may still pull through!

Healthy additions!

I purchased three lemons to join five others in our 37 gallon tank. They arrived exactly one week ago, healthy and active. They are more pale than the original five but otherwise blend into the school very well. Hopefully their color will deepen over time. These were my first mail-order fish, so I was a bit apprehensive but they survived the trip nicely and have quickly adapted to their new home. Angelfins packaged them really well and I estimate the trip was no more than 15 hours, door-to-door.

Favourite Type of Breeder Net

I've tried the ones out that use suction cups and I prefer this one as suction cups always fail eventually. This ones uses arms that hang over the rim so there is very little chance of the breeder net falling into the tank.

Good starter culture

I wasn't sure how well these would ship, but enough survived to get my own culture going which is exactly what I wanted.
