The obvious problem with this is that surface fish and shrimp can get sucked in. A light mesh around the top would probably fix the problem. I placed a small piece of foam on top but the weight of the foam when wet sinks it. Enemy so it still suck up lots of debris. Eheim needs to solve this problem already like the YouTube rapid prototypers have.

I will be feeding my Tetras for decades with this bag. They love it.

So nice to see them gather together every so often throughout the day as a group of 5.

I had placed a order with 5 different types of fish and everything but these came in good. Was able to save 6 of the dozen quickly by adding Prime to the bag etc. Angelfins reimburse me for the DOA. This happens at times shipping fish. Since then RN Tetras have coloured up wonderfully.

Purchased 4 of these and received them separated in 2 bags. Received 3 females and 1 male, which worked great as I already have 1 male, albeit with hardly any color compared to the second batch I just received from angelfins. One of the females had signs of ich on one fin the day I received them. Began medicating the tank immediately, and on the second day, it was worse with a second female showing the same symptoms, and all 3 females became fairly sluggish. They maintained all their color through this while I was medicating daily. After 7 days, 2 females died (I believe it was the 2 shipped in the same bag. The last 2 have cleaned right up and seem to be healthy. Unfortunately now I am out a fair bit of money for these 2 fish, and now have to deal with a difficult situation with 2 males potentially harassing 1 female, but hopefully the mature plants will offer plenty of hiding if need be. So far, so good in that regard. Hope this helps.
