I liked my last order of anubias so I went back and ordered another barteri and also this one... very happy again! Very lovely plants. The golden contrasts nice with my regular barteri in my betta's tank and they're such full and healthy plants. I like that these plants I've received had multiple branches off the rhizome where I could choose to split and scatter across an aquascape as accent plants, or leave as a big centerpiece.

Packed well! Ordered through Canada Post despite delays, only a day delayed but anubias is a low light amphibious plant that can handle a bit of a delay in shipping. Arrived in great shape, no damage.

Amazing examples of the species

Brought 16 home and into a bucket for acclimation, they started to colour up in the bucket and went into the tank late evening. By the next morning the orange/gold looked amazing and the black markings really dark but they continued to get prettier for a few more days.

Now, they are active in the upper 1/2 of the tank, peaceful with other occupants, usually schooling back and forth.
Sometimes fins raised and showing off to each other, there is a lot of character to these little fish.

Overall, they are really healthy and make a great addition to my 75G planted tank.

I haven't purchased this product anywhere else, but its price point cant be beat. Even some competitors cant even come close to the great pricing AF's has.

Beautiful German

We have a male blue powder and he is the centrepiece of our 37 gallon tank. Very beautiful fish and is not aggressive with Apistogramma’s or tetras. Once Angelfins has females in stock, will add another. Excellent service as always.

Fantastic fish

We picked up six last weekend via the lockbox. All six were a decent size and acclimated well to our established tank. We have not seen any aggressiveness towards other fish. Colour is very vibrant.
