Though small, very beautiful and a welcome addition to a peaceful tank. When we first put them in the tank, it looked like the Betta may have a snack. We quickly fed the fish and haven’t had an incident since.

The duckweed is growing really fast, and looks pretty in my aquarium.

They are very healthy, no torn fins. Likely because they are locally bred.

If you're looking for a cory this is one to add. A fun medium sized creamy cory with small dark spots, head to tail with a large black spot before tail. Definitely get a group because these corydoras like to shoal.
When it's feeding time they are all out in full force, typically staying close to eachother. If they aren't eating, you can bet they are all together, huddled up behind wood or other sheltered spots large enough for all of them.

Not a picky eater, relishing nearly everything I put in for them and others.

I ordered 6 of the black corydoras. I slowly acclimated them and once released to the tank they were rooting around for food.
I did have 1 die the next day. However I think it was an accident, not related to health. The cory swam through the aquaclear current and it pushed the corry into a rock. He wasn't swimming properly and 1 eye was popping out. He passed over night.

Over the past week the rest are healthy a d when food is added to the tank they are out in full force doing what cories do best. I have notice this corry isn't much for shoaling. They may be together in pairs but not all together in a group like other types of cories.
Despite not shoaling this cory is rather unique with it's black colour and is still just as cute as any other cory.
They aren't picky eaters, they are enjoying the frozen food as well as store brand food (breeder flakes, krill spirulina flakes,veg cal sticks and catfish sticks), also a mixture of northfin pellets and kelp wafer.

I have these corydoras in a tank with flourite black sand. I was concerned I wouldn't see them but since the sand is more of a grey they still pop out when they aren't behind rocks and plants. I often see them burrying their head in the sand looking for morsels.

With the pandemic in full swing, what better time to spend with our tanks. Unfortunately my daughter lost her betta right at the beginning of everything. We couldn’t just pop out and get her a new one. I spent time searching fish store sites, time and time again “sorry we do not deliver live animals”. I didn’t want to order from eBay and finally I was given a referral from someone on reddit. Sure enough I think angelfins turned out to be an amazing saving grace. Bettas however all sold out. But they had RAMS. I always wanted some of these guys when I was in the hobby 15-20 years ago. So with the betta gone we could raise the water temp and try them out. I put in a large order of both dry goods as well as live fish and plants. After all was paid for, I realized since the dry goods were being shipped regular and the fish over night, I would get the fish before the thermometer I needed to make the rams new home for them. I contacted the store and Jarmila went above and beyond! She tracked down my order and made sure the dry goods went out well before the little fishes. So when our beautiful new friends arrived they had a nice new home all set up for them.

Thank you Jarmila for the incredible customer service!! She even called me to ensure the little guys were doing ok and everything! I’ve never had a store treat me so well.

Now I have an incredible breeding pair of the most colourful little tank rulers! They are so amazing. Hands down will buy from angelfins again.
