Wash, wash, wash, wash

Ordered 7kg to do 3/4 of a 26g bow front. I knew this sand was dusty when I bought it, and I washed the living heck out of it. It still clouded up the tank pretty good though. I used 2 tetra whisper filters packed full of floss as polishers and they had it mostly clear after about 2 hours, and crystal clear after about 5 hours.

My rooted plants took to it right away with fast root growth within a couple of days in a low tech setup.

Perfect, looks great

Really happy to find 5lb bags. I rinsed the sand a bit but it didn't seem to even need it. Took no time to settle after filling up the tank. 10lbs gave a nice 1/2-1" cover on my 20long axolotl tank. Looks great!

Plant in person is a very nice healthy plant, arrived with nice roots on the stems, tall plants. Got 6 and a half stems. Some new shoots on them too. Very pleased with this plant. Some damages in shipping thanks to Fedex, but the damaged parts will not harm the plants. Removed the broken parts and planted it in its place.

Got more than the 5 mentioned, plants nice and healthy. Nicely packed with padding and thick bags with some water to keep them humid. However, Fedex needs to learn what the "fragile" label on the box means. Some damages to the plants, but minimal loss.
